Wanted Poster, or Wanted List (指名手配書, Shimei Tehaisho) is the 163rd chapter of the Golden Kamuy manga.
Synopsis[]
As Vasily observes Ogata, preparing to shoot for a certain kill, he notices that his target hasn't moved a single inch since he found him. Elsewhere, as Ilya succumbs to his wounds, Asirpa's group takes a look at Kiroranke's wanted poster and Shiraishi asks Kiroranke why he he is on it.
Kiroranke reveals that when he was fifteen years old, he came into contact with a group of dissident extremists in Saint Petersburg and attempted to assassinate the Russian emperor, Alexander II, by throwing a bag filled with bombs into his carriage. However he missed as the bag hit the horse instead, but then another person grabs the bag and throws it into the carriage, thus killing the emperor in the end.
Asirpa finds another wanted poster below Kiroranke's and sees Wilk's poster, revealing that the emperor's killer was her father. Kiroranke then admits to Asirpa and Shiraishi about his and Wilk's involvement in the emperor's death. Meanwhile, Vasily continues to observes Ogata and notes that after over an hour of watching him, something was wrong and he decides to move to another spot while keeping an eye on Ogata.
Shiraishi says that Ogata is taking a while and wonders if they should help him, but Kiroranke says that Ogata told them to let him do it alone and that they should believe in Ogata's abilities. As Vasily moves closer to Ogata's position, he notices that he had erased his own footprints and finds them leading up to an Orok casket high in a tree. Vasily then realizes that what he thought was Ogata was just a scarecrow he made using a corpse and fires off several rounds into the casket. However, the scarecrow turns out to be Ogata all along as he turns around and fires off a single shot, which hits Vasily in his right cheek.
